Monica Starck, the National Sales Manager of Bel Brands USA, makers of Babybel, The Laughing Cow, Merkts, and Boursin cheeses, teamed up with Food & Drink Resources (FDR) for the July 2016 National Association of College & University Food Services Conference.

FDR created cleverly-named recipes using the Bel Brands cheeses targeted at the college and university segment. In addition to recipe development, representatives from FDR attended the conference and spoke with potential Bel Brands customers about product uses.

Outcome

This project was Bel Brands first dip into the college and university side of foodservice. Monica said the project provided key insights into what the company needs to offer to the segment. Plus, the experience was enjoyable.

“The team at FDR is on top of their game and so fun to work with,” she said. “They were approachable from the start. Every person at FDR exudes honesty and likability.”
